Jared, 10, Toy Blog: Holiday to Florida and Disney Infinity

So I have been back from Florida a week now and I am missing the sun. I stocked up on Abercrombie Kids clothes while I was there (they don’t sell kids sizes in the UK). I also got some new Nikes , they are really comfortable.

In the Disney store I got a Frankenweenie figure and some Vinylmation Phineas and Ferb characters that I haven’t seen here.

I really like the Teen Titans Go cartoon and I saw new episodes while in the states. I bought some Teen Titans figures to put on my shelf. There
was a Plants Vs Zombie figure that I bought but it broke and I had to take it back and they didn’t have another one 🙁

I saw Guardians of The Galaxy, and after that, I really think my opinion on Disney Infinity has changed for the better. Knowing that Groot (my favourite character in GOTG), Rocket, Star Lord and Gamora are in it made me think “Maybe all of the Disney characters are in it”. I have found that it isn’t too popular, but I’m not too sure why. It looks like a decent game (although not the most original). I like the fact that there are “Story Book Pieces”, which allow you to have a certain advantage in the game, that advantage depending on the movie it is from. I also like the fact that it isn’t just Disney movie characters, Phineas, Ferb and Perry appear, as well as Stitch, Lilo, Iron Man, Thor and Spider Man. Another good thing is that you can get it for FREE on the Wii U EShop. The only issue I have with this is that you need the pedestal thing (don’t know what to call it) that allows you to play the game, which you need to buy the console version to use. From what I can pick up right now, it looks slightly different to Skylanders, and a game I might buy, but I would need to try it to know my opinion for sure.

I really don’t know why nobody has it, I think it looks like it’s made for a younger age group so it does really appeal to the age group of kids that usually play consoles. It could be because it hasn’t been in any adverts for a long time. Before I went on the Disney Infinity website, I never knew that Guardians of The Galaxy characters were in it! I also didn’t know storybook pieces were in it until my only friend that owns the game told me about them! So if Disney advertised all of the new things they put in the game, it could sell better as they are for an older age group.
